Overview
The Queen Emma Bridge is a pontoon bridge across St. Anna Bay in Curaçao. It connects the Punda and Otrobanda quarters of the capital city, Willemstad. The bridge is hinged and opens regularly to enable the passage of oceangoing vessels. Only pedestrians can cross over the pontoon bridge, no cars are allowed. If the bridge is open, there are free ferries bringing you to the other side. NB! The bridge is now under construction for two months (till Dec 2015). Boats are bringing people from one site to the other. Only one pontoon at each site is on its place.
