Overview
This 5-hour tour starts in the residential area Jan Thiel, with a brief stop at the Caribbean handcraft souvenir shop. The next stop will be the Curaçao liquor distillery, house of the traditional Blue Curaçao made since 1896. From there the tours continues to downtown Willemstad to the areas Punda, Scharloo (the former Jewish residential area) and Otrobanda with their amazing historical buildings, named monuments of the world by UNESCO. Next will be a stop at the tall Queen Juliana Bridge where you can take an unique panoramic picture of Willemstad. The tour will continue to Hato Caves (optional, the entrance fee for the guided tour is not included). Next is a drive through the flamingo’s natural reservoir and a visit to plantation house Jan Kok. Here you will find an art gallery of the local artist Nena Sanchez. The last stop is Cas Abou beach where you can enjoy lunch (not included) and enjoy the crystal clear water of this amazing beach.
